Venturing into such new fields contributes to the manufacturing know-how of Hirata in terms of its business development and accumulation of technological knowledge forming one of the mainsprings whereby future production technologies are born.
Moreover, making the best use of current technologies, the company entered into new fields in life sciences in 2003. At present, we at Hirata are contributing, although indirectly, to the cure of diseases through our role in providing the medical treatment devices developed through the application of this technology.
